Hotel Park City
Park City, Utah
June 14th – 18th, 2008

The 2008 Rocky Mountain Neurosurgical Society Meeting will be held from June 14 through June 18, 2008 at the Hotel Park City in Park City, Utah. The promises to be a delightful place for both the scientific presentations as well as for fun and recreation with the family.

The hotel is a very elegant facility on the edge of the spectacular Park City Golf Course and is located just a few blocks from the main downtown shops and restaurants of Park City. It is recognized as one of the leading small hotels of the world and is just the right size for our group with 100 or so suites. Park City is a mountain resort town located about 25 miles from Salt Lake City and is a recreational paradise. Activities available include playing on a championship golf course, world-class fly fishing and mountain biking, three nearby lakes for boating, fishing or waterskiing, touring the 2002 Winter Olympic facilities and museum, and shopping in the many unique boutiques of this old silver mining town.

In addition to the usual opening reception on Saturday and the western banquet on Tuesday, we are planning to organize an optional steam train excursion and dinner on Sunday and an early morning hot air balloon ascent. For those interested in a more extended stay in Utah, there are the National Park in central and southern Utah (Zion, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef and Arches), magnificent red rock desert scenery around Moab, and the Grand Staircase of the Escalante National Monument as well as white water rafting trips on the Colorado.
