Report of Local Arrangements Person:
Majority of events including meeting and opening reception will be Grandview Lodge. Breakfast will be in main hotel in Grand Teton ballroom as will the closing reception on Tuesday. Offsite activities include the Dinner at Rendezvous Lodge on Sunday Evening, the President’s Dinner at the Bistro on Monday evening and the golf and tennis tournaments at Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis on Monday and Tuesday afternoons respectively. Transportation is being provided for all off site activities.
Future Meetings:
Coeur D’Alene in 2022. Brad Duhon is local arrangements person. Multiple deposits have already been made. Sunday dinner will be a dinner cruise on the lake. President’s dinner location is yet to be decided. Golf and tennis will be at the resort, but probably require a 30-40 minute water taxi ride.
2023-Alaska. Probably the Alyeska resort. Kelly Schmidt is local arrangements. Will probably have to do something different for social activities than the traditional golf and tennis tournaments.
2024- La Cantera near San Antonio, TX. Brad Lega is local arrangements. Considering a BBQ dinner nearby with country dance lessons for the Sunday activity. There are nice golf and tennis facilities on site for the golf and tennis tournaments.
2025- Possibly Mexico or Big Sky or Hawaii or Santa Fe. Things are still fairly up in the air for this year.
Election of New Officers for the Executive Board:
Joe Sramek; President
Brad Duhon; President-Elect
Paul Elliott; Historian
Brad Lega; Scientific Program Chair
Member-at-Large to be determined
Staying in Roles:
Joel MacDonald; Website Administrator
Erik Parker; Treasurer
Justin Davis; Secretary
Mark Mahan; CME ?
Report of Historian: Has the historians book in his possession can pass off to new historian. Pictures are on the website under “library”
Report of Website Administrator: Website is now up to date. There has been a little trouble with the web host which will periodically make the website not work for a day or so. Attempting to address this. EventLeaf has been a big step up from RegOnline. There was a glitch that EventLeaf identified as a bug and is working on to fix. Will consider using mobile app functionality with the registration for meeting next year. Joel will work on a way to pull demographic information from the website such as addresses and emails.
Old Business: none
New Business: Will look into doing winter exec meeting in Vegas again. Joe will look into hotels for a venue.
Meeting was then adjourned.
Respectfully submitted,
Justin Davis, MD
